Summer Reading 2015 Sign up starts Monday, June 8: Kids at the Children's Desk, Teens & Adults at the Front Desk. Be sure to look for program information and the schedule of fun, free events in June's issue of inMiddlebury Magazine.
On Tuesday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. see "Selma", the unforgettable story of Martin Luther King's campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965.
On Friday, June 5 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. come practice your Super Hero skills during the Summer Reading Kick-Off program. Find out if your best skill is balance, strength, or shooting (silly string, that is). For kids preschool age thru Grade 5.
The next Build It Club will be on Thursday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m. for students in grades K thru 5. June's topic is "Bridges" with students starting to build their bridges for the Bridge Building Contest June 15-17. Materials provided. Sign up online at Event Calendar or at the Children's Desk.
Our summer book discussion group's first meeting is on Tuesday, June 9. Two convenient times are offered: Day Yak meets at 1:00 p.m. and Night Yak meets at 7:00 p.m. Register at the front desk to pick up a special copy of the book. See book selections and schedule.
