Technical details about computers at MCPL

Each of our computers is slightly different, but has the following approximate configuration:

• Windows XP Professional
• 500MB RAM
• 10GB harddrive
• 2 USB ports
• CD or DVD drive (some RW)
• Floppy disk drive
• 15 inch moniter

What programs to you have?

Our patron computers have the following programs installed:

• Internet Explorer
• Microsoft Office 2003 (includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), OR
  Microsoft Office 2007 (includes Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Windows Media Player

How fast is your internet connection?

The library has two T1 lines servicing approximately forty computers. Hardline speed is approximately 100Mbps. Wi-Fi speed is approximately 20Mbps.
