Looking for teen book lovers (ages 13 -18) and struggling readers (grades K-5). Supervised sessions are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. starting October 6. A child meets once a week with a teenager to read and do a small activity which encourages literacy. Contact Kelsey for more information and to register.
On Friday, Sept. 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. the Teen Advisory Board is hosting a Mini Apple Fest for ALL ages. Activities include: apple snakes, apple bobbing, making carmel apples and apple dolls, and more.
Tab (Teen Advisory Board) is open to teens grades 6-12. If you know what you want to see in the library, have book suggestions or programming you want, sign up with Kelsey at the front desk. We meet the 4th Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m.
If 12 and older, you can gain valuable experience for future jobs by being a teen volunteer. The library needs help with various events and tasks. Call Kelsey, our Youth Services Librarian, to become a VolunTEEN.
