On Tuesday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. see the Academy Award winning Theory of Everything based on the true life story of our time's most noted physicist, Stephen Hawking, and the arts student, Jane Wilde, he fell in love with at Cambridge in the 1960's.
The next Build It Club will be on Friday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. for students in grades K thru 5. Parents are asked to stay and help. April's topic is "How Hands Work". Each family bring a scissors strong enough to cut cardboard. Sign up online at Event Calendar or at the Children's Desk.
Our last Winter/Spring Yak is on Tuesday, April 28. Two convenient times are offered: Day Yak meets at 1:00 p.m. and Night Yak meets at 7:00 p.m. It is not too late to register at the front desk to pick up a special copy of the book. See book selections and schedule.
Looking for students in grades K-5 who want to improve reading skills. Struggling as well as avid readers are welcome. Supervised sessions are offered on Tuesdays from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. through May 26. A child meets once a week with a teen to read and do a small activity which encourages literacy.
