Kids Programs

For babies, toddlers and preschoolers, to school-aged students in grades K thru 5.

Babies & Books meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.  This class is specially designed for infants/early walkers and their favorite adults.  If you have a child 18 months or younger, please register for this class!  The first class is August 22nd.

Toddler Time is for children ages 18-36 months and their favorite adult. During Toddler Time, our main goals are to further their love of reading and the library, encourage them to recognize there are other people in the room, and HAVE FUN! We will read books, sing songs, learn nursery rhymes, and show parents that reading and interacting with their children can be fun and easy.

Our Preschool Story Time class is for children after they turn 3 until age 5 (or when they start Kindergarten).  Parents are not required to attend Preschool Story Time, but are welcomed if it helps the child be more comfortable. We will read books, sing songs, do crafts, move our entire body, and much more.

We try to keep all weekly classes to a comfortable size to enhance the library experience, so registration is required.

Lego Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. (except June and July). Build whatever you like from the library’s legos. Please DO NOT bring your own legos. For grades K-5. If younger than 9, parents please join your lego builder. Register at online Event Calendar . Lego Club will return in SEPTEMBER!
