Summer Activities

Multiple times a week Ms. Beth plans activities at the library for the children. Sometimes there is a guest performer, sometimes it’s Ms. Beth running the program. We ALWAYS ask that you register for activities on the Event Calendar at the top of this page.

Our July Activities are:

July 8th we will be watching Wall-E at 1 p.m.  We will provide popcorn for everyone who is registered.

On July 10th we are using an activity kit from the state library.  NASA @ YOUR LIBRARY will teach us about space and show us the difference in everything we find in space.  Everything starts at 10 a.m.

On July 12th at 10 a.m. we will have our 3rd Family Story Time for the summer!

Potawatomi Zoo is visiting the library at 1 p.m.  We will be learning about Animal Adaptations and seeing a few animals!

July 17th’s activity is STARLIGHT MYSTERY CAFE. Just think how much fun it is to order items from the menu at a restaurant, but not know what is coming. Are “Saturn’s Rings” onion rings or pretzel rings or donuts? You’ll have to join us at 11 a.m. to find out!  *VERY LIMITED CLASS SIZE!*

On July 20th we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing! Moon Day will be BUSY at the library! Stations for crafts, moon walking, picture opportunities, and a station to turn in your final SRC items! 10:30-1:30pm

Our final Family Story Time is on July 30th at 10 a.m.

Light Saber Design Station at the S.T.E.A.M. Wars Program
Painting Universes at S.T.E.A.M. Wars
